Description of Terrains:

Sprint distance course will take place in Druskininkai resort. It is mixed environment with urban area and Town Park.Middle distance will take place in the typical Lithuanian terrain with mixture of deciduous and coniferous forest with many contour details, especially depressions and slopes (15-25m), and few paths. The runnability is mostly middle, the visibility is restricted. The terrain of long distance is highland (moraine) with valley of the river Nemunas. The difference between highest and lowest points of the terrain is about 110m. Dominate middle landforms (including depressions), maximum slopes up to 40m. Mostly coniferous good runnable pine-tree forest. Some small parts are middle runnable spruce-tree and young forest. Middle density of roads and tracks. Relay will be held in good and fast runnable pine-tree forest with small and middle dune forms. Some slopes near lakes up to 25m. The visibility generally very good. Middle density of paths and rides. |
